One of the difficulties with the regular turnover of elders and deacons is ensuring that everyone has electronic access to the materials they need. After using other systems of file sharing for quite some time and dealing with the regular hassle of educating and equipping the newcomers every spring, we've switched our files over to Church Social. They are now easily accessible to those who are in office at the time and yet secure from anyone who shouldn't have access. What's more, it's a simple matter to remove the names of outgoing elders and deacons and add the new ones so that confidentiality and security are maintained.

That, together with the additional membership information that is available only to office-bearers, has made this an invaluable tool in our congregation. In short, Church Social allows our elders and deacons to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time shepherding the flock.
